Parrott Generosity Knows No Bounds

The Hastings Manor Foundation was grateful to accept the very generous donation received from Jack and Bernice Parrott.Jack and Bernice Parrott Their generosity continues to flow throughout our community and has touched many lives.

News of the donation was music to the ears of one person in particular. Yolande Gallant is a Board Member of the Foundation, and her late husband was a resident at Hastings Manor for 12 years. She is quoted as saying, "That's the most beautiful news I've heard. There is a God."

The Parrotts are to be commended on their generosity and support of Hastings Manor.

"One of the ways that we demonstrate our gratitude to our parents and grandparents who in the prime of their lives have given so much to Canada and our local communities is in the way that we care for them in their later years. The new Hastings Manor will provide for these people a bright and cheerful environment and the privacy and dignity that each of them deserves.

I commend all of you who are working so hard to build the new Manor - not a facility or an institution but a warm and caring home.

I am pleased to offer you my financial support and wish you success in your campaign."
