Is Hastings Manor Foundation a registered charity?

YES. The Hastings Manor Foundation is a registered charity. You will receive a charitable tax receipt for income tax purposes on all donations. Our charitable registration number is 86667 2041 RR0001.

How can I donate?

You can donate online, or by mail, fax, or phone.

What methods of payment can you accept?

We accept cheques, money orders and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard) for one-time donations, and automatic bank account withdrawals and credit cards for monthly or annual donations.

How do I make an online donation?

Simply click on the Donate Now! Online Donation button, and fill in the required contact, credit card and gift detail information. (You will have an opportunity to preview your information before confirming your donation.) Your donation will be securely processed, you will receive an instant on-screen confirmation of your donation and a further acknowledgment will be sent to your email account.

I'm concerned about credit card safety online.

The Hastings Manor Foundation online donation transaction system is protected by secure SSL encryption, assuring maximum security, safety and peace of mind. The online donation process is protected by a Verisyn SSL Certificate issued to Xynapse Canada Inc., developers of this site.

To whom do I write a cheque?

Please make your donation, whether by cheque, money order, credit card or bank withdrawal payable to: 'Hastings Manor Foundation'.

Can I make monthly donations?

Yes, we can process monthly donations through your credit card or by Automatic Bank Account Withdrawal, on the 1st or 15th of every month.

What if I can't print the donation form from the website?

If you have a problem printing the Donate by Mail or Fax form, please contact us and provide an email address or fax number so we can send the form to you. If you prefer, call us and leave your phone number. We will call you back and take your credit card information over the phone.

I want my donation to go to a specific Fund. How can I do this?

In the Targeted Donation area provided on the donation form that you have selected, please indicate the specific Fund that you wish to support. We will designate your gift to the area that you identify. Please see Targeted Donations to review Fund choices.

I want to make a donation in memoriam, or as a special occasion (birthday, retirement, etc.) gift, and have an acknowledgement card (or card of condolence) sent to someone.

In the Tribute Gift/In Memoriam area provided on the donation form that you have selected, please indicate the Name and Address of the honouree or of the bereaved family. If your gift is for a special occasion, please leave us enough time to mail out the acknowledgment. Thank you!

When can I expect my tax receipt?

You can expect your receipt for your one-time donation within two to three weeks from the date you make your donation.

If you are making monthly donations through your bank account or credit card, your annual receipt will be sent out in January for the previous tax year.

I donated several months ago. Why haven't I received a receipt?

It's possible we had an incorrect address for you. Please tell us your full name as it appeared on your donation, your address, when you made the donation and the amount. It is also helpful if we know how you made the donation: cheque, money order, credit card, online, etc. Please also include a phone number or email address so we can get in touch with you if we need to.

I can't find my receipt. Can I have another one?

We can send you a copy of your receipt. Please give us your full name as it appeared on your donation, your address, and tell us when you made the donation and the amount. Please also include a phone number or email address so we can get in touch with you if we need to.

Is my privacy as a donor to Hastings Manor Foundation respected?
